Om ervoor te zorgen dat het platform soepel blijft werken en om de kosten te dekken van diensten die hosts helpen hun woningen te delen, brengt Airbnb echter servicekosten in rekening zodra een boeking is bevestigd. <\/p>\n<p>De meeste hosts betalen vaste servicekosten van 3%. Deze kosten worden berekend op basis van het subtotaal van de boeking: de overnachtingsprijs + schoonmaakkosten + eventuele kosten voor extra gasten. Het subtotaal is exclusief Airbnb-kosten en belastingen. De servicekosten worden automatisch ingehouden op de uitbetaling aan de host.
