Frequently asked questions

You can list your rental space on Crewdogs for free. But to ensure the platform runs smoothly and to cover the cost of services that help hosts share their properties, Crewdogs charges a discounted service fee when a booking is confirmed. Hosts pay a flat service fee of 2%. This fee is calculated from the booking subtotal, a nightly rate + cleaning fee + additional guest fee, if applicable. The subtotal doesn’t include Crewdogs fees and taxes. The service fee is automatically deducted from the Host payout. And guests pay a service fee of 10% of the booking subtotal except on Government travel, where guests are not charged.

Crewdogs does not allow instant bookings. The platform allows messaging, requests, and special offers similar to other OTAs.

Crewdogs uses Stripe to process payments as the Merchant of Record so they can facilitate Government travel.
