Hostfully has some fantastic news: we’re thrilled to announce that we have a new partner! We recently received a major investment from Dallas-based growth investment firm, Blue Star Innovation Partners (“BSIP”). This marks an exciting next chapter for us as we continue building innovative solutions to empower short-term and vacation rental property managers worldwide.

The partnership: finding the right fit with BSIP

We’ve worked tirelessly to provide our customers with the best solutions, customer service, and software possible. And as the vacation rental industry continues to mature, we’re continually seeking out ways to further invest in and enhance our offerings.

In our search for the right partner, BSIP immediately stood out for their deep expertise in the short-term rental industry. The feeling was mutual. Cameron Barragan, Partner at BSIP, says:

“After getting to know the Hostfully team and product, as well as learning more about the company’s strategic direction, we found tight alignment with our values and vision for the short-term rental market. We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with what we believe is the top PMS for emerging operators globally.”

BSIP’s experience as an investor in Travel Net Solutions (Track) brings tremendous knowledge to Hostfully and our Board of Directors. However, though Hostfully and Track are both property management software companies, there are no plans to combine the two. “Since Hostfully and Track serve fundamentally different segments, we believe it’s important that both companies continue to operate independently, and remain laser-focused on delivering capabilities that meet the unique needs of each customer segment,” explains BSIP Principal, Matt Wappler.

What’s next: more opportunity, same dedication to customers

Though the partnership marks exciting developments, Hostfully CEO and Co-Founder Margot Schmorak is clear about preserving what drives us. “Our relationships with our customers and partners will always be top priority,” she says.

Schmorak will continue to head up the company as CEO, championing Hostfully’s unique culture and company, with eager anticipation for what’s next.

“As we got to know the BSIP team, we learned about their founder-first approach and deep SaaS operating experience. These qualities make BSIP stand out from the rest.” Schmorak notes. “With their short-term rental software industry expertise, BSIP uniquely understands the opportunities and challenges of our business. With them, we will accelerate success for our customers and the short-term rental industry.”

This investment will enable Hostfully to double down on product development to meet customers’ needs: adding more AI services, exploring new geographic markets, and expanding beyond digital guidebooks, smart device management, and Hostfully’s PMS platform.

Hostfully long-time investor, Elaine Kunda, Managing Partner of Disruption Ventures, is equally excited. “We couldn’t be happier to see how Hostfully has become a leader in the short-term rental industry. The company now has the ideal next partner for the massive opportunity ahead.”

As we celebrate this major milestone, we want to thank our customers for being part of our community, and for allowing us to be a part of yours. We can’t wait to show you what’s next at Hostfully.

Special thanks to our legal team at Reed Smith—especially Nick Foreste, Jennifer Feld, and Sarah Moy—for supporting Hostfully.
