Are there any exclusions with SmartSTR™ Insurance?
Some common exclusions include: intentional damage caused by guests, damage caused by parties or events, illegal activity, wear and tear from normal use of the property, and general maintenance.
When will I be charged for coverage?
Getting started with SmartSTR™ Insurance includes collecting your property information and valid credit card information. However, you will not be billed for coverage at this time. Before your first monthly billing cycle, Tint will communicate the date of your first payment and a breakdown of charges for covered bookings.
What types of properties are covered?
With SmartSTR™ Insurance coverage is available for houses, condos, apartments, etc. Any unit with more than one room is eligible for coverage.
Where is coverage available?
Coverage is available in all 50 states.
How quickly can I expect coverage to be applied to bookings?
After you’ve completed the sign-up process, all bookings will have coverage added automatically. To be sure the insurance cost is covered by the guest, do not forget to set up the charge on all of your reservations.
