Recommended Thermostats for Your Rental Properties

For the best experience, we recommend Google Nest or Ecobee thermostats when purchasing new devices for your rentals. These options offer robust features, better compatibility, and strong vendor support. While Honeywell thermostats are compatible with Hostfully Devices, their APIs have some limitations in terms of supported devices and available controls. Additionally, accessing direct vendor support can be more challenging compared to other brands. If you choose to use Honeywell thermostats, they must be set up with the Resideo Mobile App. Existing apps can be migrated from the TCC app to Resideo. For more details, refer to the TCC FAQ.
