Before joining Hostfully, I built one of Vietnam’s largest short‑term rental operations, overseeing a portfolio of 500 properties and running day‑to‑day operations at scale. That boots‑on‑the‑ground experience taught me firsthand how fragmented and challenging short‑term rental management can be and shaped my dedication to building tools that remove those obstacles. I also had the privilege of collaborating with one of Airbnb’s co‑founders to launch Airbnb China. That opportunity reinforced a vital truth: hospitality is deeply local and global strategies must adapt to regional behavior, compliance, and partner ecosystems.
