- Do not sync your Hostfully properties to the channels before completing pricing, fees, taxes, and availability otherwise you may receive double bookings or bookings below the price you want.
- Do not forget to do mock reservations up to the paywall after connecting to the channels to ensure prices and availability show as you expect.
After you adjust fees, taxes, or pricing, we suggest selecting dates on your listing like a guest would and reviewing the order.
Once a property is toggled ON within a channel in Hostfully and you connect that property to an existing listing, the data in Hostfully completely overwrites your existing listing. This includes pricing, photos, descriptions and rental terms. Make sure your property is complete in Hostfully before syncing!
- Airbnb:
Airbnb may collect and remit in your market. Otherwise, you will need to manage them. You can find more information here. - Vrbo, Booking.com, and direct bookings: You are responsible for collecting and remitting your taxes.
- Airbnb: We import Airbnb reservations into Hostfully for 1 year in the past and 2 years in the future. No need to enter those manually.
- Vrbo and Direct: You will need to manually enter your Vrbo and Direct reservations as Vrbo does not have the ability to send them automatically. Here is a help article on how to do that.
- Booking.com: We import Booking.com reservations into Hostfully for reservations with checkout dates in the future. No need to enter those manually.

Listing your property on MiniStays is easy and free! Just follow these steps:
1. Visit the MiniStays website. Create a host account, if you haven’t already done so. Among other things, you’ll need to verify your phone number, email, and upload some form of identification. You will also need to create or connect a Stripe account to enable payouts.
2. Go to your dashboard and click on “Listings” in the left hand column. Then click “Add Listing” in the top right hand corner. Enter information, description, photos, pricing, availability, amenities etc. until completed. Be as detailed as possible here as it helps guests know what to expect during their stay at your property.
Tips:
- The MiniStays team highly recommends professional photography as it’s proven that will help you book faster, attract better guests, and earn more money.
- Take some time to think through each cancellation policy option in conjunction with your security deposit policy. Make sure to inform the guests what to expect in terms of cancellations, damage to property, and how/when the deposit is expected to be returned.
3. When you’re done filling out the required info, click publish listing. Congrats! You’ve successfully listed your first property on MiniStays!
No, all properties listed on MiniStays must be rented for a minimum of 30 nights. There are no exceptions to this, and the MiniStays system does not allow for any stays of less than 30 nights. Hosts can set their minimum to anything over 30 days.
No. MiniStays only allows listings that are fully furnished.
Yes, all utilities need to be included in the monthly rate. Monthly travelers expect to have basic necessities covered in their rent.
No. All of your fees and payment schedule are shown on the checkout page and in your inquiry before you approve a guest. The guest only pays the security deposit up front + their Guest Service Fee to secure a booking. The first rental payment is paid on the reservation start date and includes the following:
- First 30 days of rent
- Cleaning fee (if applicable)
- Pet fee (if applicable)
- MiniStays Service Fee
The amount of the security deposit is up to the host. On average it should be about 30-40% of monthly rent or flat fees such as $500 or $1,000 for security deposits for mid-term rentals. The security deposit is refundable and is required to be returned within 14 days of the stay’s end date.
MiniStays has 4 options for Hosts to choose from for their cancellation policies. Also, based on the Host’s cancellation policy, the Host can determine how the security deposit will be handled upon cancellations. For example, if a Host has a flexible cancellation policy then they may be more strict in how much of the security deposit is returned as a result of early cancellation.
Payouts flow directly from guest to host through your connected Stripe or Square account. Houfy never touches booking funds, ensuring you remain in full control of your earnings.

This could be sent via WhatsApp, text message, email, Slack, where you like.

PriceLabs algorithm considers a number of factors – some inputs and settings that you can control, and their data-driven analytics layered on top of it. When you review prices for a listing for the first time, PriceLabs will estimate a base price for the listing for you based on its attributes and current performance. PriceLabs then applies historic demand trends (seasonal, weekend vs. weekday), future looking supply and demand data (occupancy levels and prices for vacation rentals and hotels for future dates), and how far a date is (last minute discounting, far our premium, etc.). Reducing or increasing the base price will reduce or increase the price recommendations.
In addition, you can also set your own lowest price, highest price, last minute discount/premium customization, as well as date specific overrides (for example, to further increase prices for New Year’s eve by 20%). - Cancellations requested 0-29 days before move-in: Penalty of one month’s rent (no refund for booking or card processing fees). Blueground would pay the Partner one month’s rent minus their commission.
For cancellations due to failed background checks, Blueground will issue a full refund to the guest and the Partner will not be liable for a commission. For other cancellations requested by the Partner, the partner is responsible for the commission owed to Blueground.

Yes, to qualify for a Hostfully Capital financing offer through Stripe Capital, your business must:
- Have processed payments on Stripe for 3 months or more.
- Have a processing volume of $5,000 USD minimum per year and an average processing volume of $1,000 USD for the last 3 months.
- Be in good standing with Stripe Capital. If your business previously applied for a Capital offer and was rejected, you’re not eligible to receive a new offer for 30 days.
- Be based in the US. The Hostfully Capital program only supports businesses located or incorporated in the US. Business representatives must also provide a physical US home address.

Stripe deducts a fixed percentage of your sales until the total owed is repaid. Every loan has a minimum payment amount (usually due every 60 days). If the total amount repaid through sales doesn’t cover the minimum, you’re required to pay the remaining balance at the end of the period. Automated repayments count towards this minimum.

At the moment, users cannot activate or deactivate integrations (i.e.; dynamic pricing, cleaning management, payment processors, etc.) from the Hostfully app. However, if you currently have integrations on your desktop browser, they will still perform their automations and work with the Hostfully PMS management platform even when you use the mobile app. Note that you can still load the desktop browser of Hostfully on your mobile device through your browser and access the integrations tab.
